About Sean Lyons
Sean Lyons is the principal of R.I.S.C. In recent years his work has been focused on the design and development of corporate defence program blueprints.
Sean is also the architect of the related cross-functional discipline of "Corporate Defence Management (CDM)" which aims at helping organisations to ensure that their multidimensional components are managed in a coordinated and coherent manner, so that they are in strategically aligned, tactically integrated, and operating in unison towards common objectives.
In 2010 Sean was shortlisted as a finalist in the GRC MVP 2009 Awards organised by the US based GRC Group (SOX Institute) which is co-chaired by Senator Paul Sarbanes and Congressman Michael Oxley. These awards recognise individual achievements and professional contributions in governance, risk management, and compliance, and the 2009 awards honoured professionals who demonstrated excellence in this field during that calendar year.
